Abstract

The European Meteorological Aircraft Derived Data Center (EMADDC), accessible at emaddc.eu, has processed aircraft surveillance data to generate observations of wind speed, wind direction, and temperature. In addition to operational data, EMADDC has undertaken the reprocessing of all historical data beginning from 2016. The most recent reprocessed dataset, utilizing the latest quality control methods and corrections, is available here and will be updated with new data as it becomes available. An overview of data availability can be found on the Data Portal at https://emaddc.com/participate/data+users/data+portal/default.aspx.
