Precipitation - radar 5 minute full volume data De Bilt - archive

Archive of volume data of radar reflectivity (uncorrected and corrected for ground clutter), radial velocity, and spread in radial velocity for the radar in De Bilt. Time interval is 5 minutes. Data have been archived in one .tar file per day.

Linage statement Radar reflectivities and Doppler spectra are measured by the radar in De Bilt (52.1017 N, 5.1783 E) in scans with elevation angles of 0.3, 0.4, 0.8, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 4.5, 6.0, 8.0, 10.0, 12.0, 15.0, 20.0, and 25.0 degrees. Uncorrected radar reflectivities are stored, and a Doppler filter is used to generate ground clutter-corrected reflectivities. The mean (radial velocity) and standard deviation (spread in radial velocity) of Doppler spectra are stored as well. The time stamp in the file name corresponds to the start time of the lowest radar scan.
