Lineage statement | Radar reflectivities and Doppler spectra are measured by the radar in Den Helder (52.9533 N, 4.7900 E) in scans with elevation angles of 0.3, 0.4, 0.8, 1.1, 2.0, 3.0, 4.5, 6.0, 8.0, 10.0, 12.0, 15.0, 20.0, and 25.0 degrees. Uncorrected radar reflectivities are stored, and a Doppler filter is used to generate ground clutter-corrected reflectivities. The mean (radial velocity) and standard deviation (spread in radial velocity) of Doppler spectra are stored as well. The time stamp in the file name corresponds to the start time of the lowest radar scan. |
